Uploading an External Assessment Document

If you'd like to upload an existing district assessment document (i.e. Word or PDF version created elsewhere), and not create a dynamic version using the TEKS Resource System item bank, you can use the upload features provided.

NOTE: This version utilizes the file file Upload, Footer Date, and Manage Standards sections only.

Required Role: District Content Creator

Site Access: System Management > District Content > District Assessment Template


From the System Management page, click the District Content option and then select District Assessment Template from sub-menu.


From the Manage District Assessment Templates page, click the Create New Assessment Template button to begin creating your assessment.


When the template page opens, use the Choose File tools in the Upload sections to find your assessment document (and answer key document, if created). After selecting the document, click the Upload Unit Test button (or Upload Answer Key button, if necessary) to attach your document.


Align any standards to the assessment by clicking the Manage Standards tool.


Enter a Footer Date for the assessment. This date acts as the 'created' date and will display in the page footer on the assessment page.


Select the Grade Level, Subject, and Course (if appropriate). The Lettering Option can be ignored.
